Re: what do you think about this car?

Viper, I have a 91 RS that i would sell you for $1,000. I bought it for $1,200 , rebuilt the trans, replaced the windshield, put new tires on it, and fixed the AC leak. Unfourtunatly, I live in Texas. Sounds to me like you have just gooten your license and are about 17 or so. I remember how hard it was then to have something to drive that I liked. MOst of mine were extreme beaters that my girlfriends wouldn't ride in. Some of them were fast, some weren't. My best advice to you is to get a beater (but dependable) car to drive whie you finish school, Then, after you get a job, continue to save your $$ and you will be able to find a camaro/firebird that you like and can afford.
I know that's not really what you want to hear, but trust me, once you get oput on your own and get your feet on the ground, you'll be able to do it the way you want.

I like that car the way it is, if you look at them in real life though they look alot different/ugly but I do like the 3 slot nose, to make the car look good you have to lower it a bit or lower the front and raise the back, then it'd look good but you cant leave it alone. IMO I like em but the one you're getting needs a paint job, Viper.

God.. if I were you i'd goto Wal-Mart, buy a couple of gloss black srapy cans and spray paint your car. btw remember to use lots of tape and newspaper and dont forget to have paitience when doing the tape part as it is the most important part of the upcomming crappy paintjob.

Re: what do you think about this car?

might as well just paint it witha brush, i guess i could spray it with cans of paint from walmart, i dont see putting the money out for a good paint job since i will be adding ground effects, a iroc turbo hood, and one of those 'tall' spoilers like that dude 92zcamaroperson has on the car in his sig.

Yeah i'd do it, and if you had like an electronic sander you could sand it down and THEN color it, which would be hella better.

Re: what do you think about this car?

well i went to look at that camaro today, i asked the guy there about it and he looked at me like i just landed on earth, while i was out looking at cars, i came accross a pretty nice 2 door honda accord, only prob is its stick, + the guy wants like 1800 for it, but its prob got a hell of alot of miles on it.

any ideas on learning to drive stick? no friends that can teach me, but im 99% sure that if i could try to drive it maybe around hte block or so i should be able to tkae it from there, i might stall it once or twice but thats it, i prob wont even grind the gears ever, but i donno how to acctually drive a stick...
