And does it come in fiberglass or urethane?

LOL I missed alot of stuff- i see there was a continued bashing after Enjuku an i finished playing the name calling/down talkin shit game...

because of where i live i wouldnt buy a fiberglass kit because urethane can take more stress an will flex more-
Example... On my shelby i have a urethane front facia an i hit a bear cub doin 40mph cause i was watching the mother an didnt see the 3rd cub run out... but i hit him an he went for a hell of a ride into the guardrail. my buddy has fiber -g front facia an hit a ground hog doin 25 in a residential an broke the whole side of the facia off (like 2 1/2 high an to the license plate from the frender ..... so u tell me whats stronger... also in the cold fiberglass is alot more brittle ... An from experience i worked in a body shop from age 15-17 an over that time hated repairing fiber glass even though i was good at it - it is so freakin teadious to get it perfect any man that works at a body shop will tell ya the same thing...
An the kid with the Xploid - like they said most of us didnt even have shit like that when we were 15 lol - its the truth but not now adays - U can't run a 4 chan with one sub even bridged it will not sound that great.. if that is the new Xploid rated for like 1100 watts or something like that .... get the Xploid 1000 watt D class Mono Amp ... that the sub will sound very damn good - i bought one of these amps in like 2002 when they came out for $750 US an it totally rapes any planet audio an even some alpine amps.... not to bash there shit but all my buddies run apline an planet power an HU's they think my 2 12" sound almost as good as the W-7 an my bass sounds fuller less distorted an more solid... So anyway grab one of them they are down to $199 US which pisses me off since i payed 750 a few years ago ... but that is how econ. works - inflation an deflation of prices an shit....

I have a '97 2.2L 4spd auto cavalier. When I first got it I was a bit excited considering it was my first car. I may have bought it a bit quickly (didn't look into enough). Anyways things I knew what was wrong with the car before I bought it:
-hole in gas tank (were still metal gas tanks in '97)
-blown strut rear right
-burnt out power window motor driver side
-rust behind both doors and on rocker
-hood with lots of deep stone chips along with bumper
-some dints here and there
-driver side fender crushed
-interior panels missing

And here are some things I discovered after I bought it:
-Chip in windshield (no big deal)
-driver side power mirror doesn't work properly
-rust on bottom of both doors (inside)
-busted door hinges driver side.

But for $1100 canadian isn't bad and considering I was co-oping at a body shop when I purchased the car, I got a helluva a deal (I think) on the new paint job. $736CDN that includes everything. plus the car has only 145,000km

and so far I've put about $300 into parts including Z3 style fenders. Still need to buy the gas tank.

anyways enough of this, heres my baby
When I bought it (absolutely nothing done to it)

and after new paint

Visit my cardomain page to see all the work-in-progress picshttp://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/703236

Now that all needs to be done (just to safety) it:
New brakes
New tires, you should really see this thing in the snow it's hilarious.
and a new gas tank and she should be ready to hit the streets (legally)

Good call on the Z3 fenders before the gas tank. Kind of a lot of miles on it, hope it lasts for you.

I would use that car for a beater...
I just spent 216 to get the seams at the bottom of my doors taken care of so they don't rust out.. looks brand new... Woo hoo...

My Cavi

My name is Scott and I'm 17 from Wisconsin. I don't post much, but I've learned a lot about jbodies on here. I have a 97 Z24 5 spd with the following mods. Intake, full exhuast, header, dual friction centerforce clutch, b&m short throw, and eibach sportline springs. Her best run is a 15.5 @ 89 MPH. I bought this car stock and put it all in myself and did the interior myself. I got a kenwood 800 watt system goin to 2 12s w/ 5 way pioneer speakers. Heres some pics - see more on my cardomain site in my signature.
