Made this out of thin clear plastic as well. Used paper clips underneath for structural integrity and support.

The display base took a lot of effort but it was worth it. The thick piece of glass reflects light in so many ways and shades that it looks more amazing in person.

As for the hood, the "thin clear plastic" started off as a cover for a dvd lens cleaner and ended up as a 1:24 TRD hood of a Supra LMAO. The mesh I used is from a stainless less steel strainer LOL. As I said before, I only used stuff I found around the household. I'll try to post pics of the WIP of the hood. Don't forget to check them out. Thanks again for the comment.

Here are the WIP pics of the hood. The clear plastic came from this.

Made a sketch of the hood on paper and traced it on the clear plastic

Used hair dryer to get the curves that I wanted and then super glued some paper clips underneath to hold the shape together.

Wasn't sure if it was going to work but somehow it did.

And here's mine. May not be perfect but I'd say quite close.

Bro... That is truly creative work! It's simply amazing how you used just regular items around the house to make the hood! Love the hair blower idea too! Now that's skillz!!

Thanks man.. I noticed being a bit creative, adding few details here & there and making parts out of regular stuff laying around you is what that make these builds a lot more interesting and fascinating.

You should see the things I used to make the intercooler. I'll try to find the wip pics and upload them for you. Cheerz
