I dunno, I was assuming that you'd head towards Toronto and go from there, but maybe not. I'm under an hour away from Toronto

i think toronto is like 4 hours away from detroit, and i'm an hour from toronto, i'm closer
i'll check it out on map quest.... whoa! on map quest it says it's 4 hours and 50 min. from barrie!!  i'm sure you could find a shorter way though, that would probably cut it down to like 4 and 1/2 hours it's 455km from barrie and around 300km from kitchener

Oh, I thought Detroit was south of Toronto, not East. Shows you how well I know my geography.....
 4:50 sounds right. I'm about 40-50 minutes from Toronto.

detroit is actually west
you could probably cut off the angle though... i find when i drive that i do a 100km in less than an hour... so you could probably do 450km in 4 and 1/2 hours
