You obviously know more than you are letting on, so are you able to tell us or do we have to guess? Is it at Lanzante's [that's where I last heard it was] or elsewhere, what livery is it in, and do you have any pics to share....

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Its in the blue/yellow livery. As of last year it was in a warehouse near where i used to live, i'm not sure if its related to Lanzante or not. I was working on pics but i don't think thats gonna happen now. Of course, it could have moved since then

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

In the blue and yellow livery? That's a shame - Id've loved to have seen it in the Lloyds livery. I heard it was at Lanzantes through a chance meeting yesterday, although the guy who should have known alot about Mclarens either was being cagey to protect identites or didn't actually know what he should have! Good to hear your info though

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Looks like Lanzantes had a day trip!

That pic reminds me, I was passed these a while ago from a good friend and was waiting for the right thread to add them to -

I'll hopefully get some more in the near future

Hi Phil
The black one is chassis #069, the ex-James Munroe F1

Aaron Hsu owns both those cars in Le Mans' picture, and I believe he keeps his collection in Connecticut (sp?) although the 2 F1's have been in Hampshire, UK, for a while now.

Can you send a link off Fchat with regards to the guy who purchased an F1 (#014?)

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Thanks Greg,

The guy in question told some months ago he purchased an F1 and wanted a flat black paint. I have not the thread there but he bought a F40 at Beverly Hills when he was 18 !

Phil

PS : in the article, I red LAX, it's the airport ?

LAX is the 'code' for Los Angeles airport, just as LHR is for London Heathrow. I read on SC.net a while ago that a matt/flat black F1 was due to be delivered after the refit here in the UK, and IIRC I added it on here too. Could be the same guy? Also it sounds like the guy who bought and refitted #014 from Yellow to White with the HDF kit....?

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Hi,

I know what LAX means. The cars of Hsu are located in East America, so why LAX ? #069 was last modified when ?
