Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

Anybody got exhaust pipe and size fitment charts or links?
When i cut the old muffler off the car and put the new one which then i found out screwed up the car lol i have to figure out a way to put the old one back on.
So the pipe where i cut it is 2"ID. There is a piece of that in the old muffler which is 2"OD. So what will work? Can i go 2 1/8" OD for the piece where i cut then the other end be a 2" or a 2 1/8" OD for on the muffler. I need a little piece of pipe so it can be reconnected.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

Love it Blazee, I testdrove one after the old lady wrecked my s-10, I fell in love with it. It was a 96 maroon one, 48k miles, new tint, wheels, awsome condition. Only problem was I didn't have 15k . But the s-10 is fixed, my first true experience w/ bodywork and first time painting, I'm kinda proud of the way the fendor and filler panel came out after paint, it looks pretty nice for the first time painting and guessing on the mixture of paint/thinner. Only thing that I had to have help with was fixing the bumper bracket that got f'ed up, dad torched, hammered, and welded it up for me, other that I did everything else (a few pointers from Dad on painting too) but I'm kinda broud of my handiwork. So the lack of cash veto'd the Impala, but I'd still kill to have one, and I'm back to driving the s-10.

It isn't all that uncommon to see a new Chevy 3/4 ton with a solid front axle conversion, running BIG tires full of mud at the grocery store.

The weird thing is that there aren't any shops catering to that crowd at all. I think that there's too much potential here for me to ignore.
Big Island Off-Road does most conversions and 4x4 supplies here, they're located in Campbellton in Campbell River. I bet a shop in Courtenay would do well, Big Island sure seems to be doing well for themselves.

EDIT: My neighbour's trying to get rid of a 1925 Ford 2 door sedan project for free. It's really haggard, but if you need it for parts or want to try fixing it up you can have it, PM me.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

LOL, went to work night crew for the week since a guy is on vacation... since I left N/C and they promoted a bagger to take my place. The second in charge told me that this guy has "trouble reading"...... WRONG HE'S ILLITERATE. I was facing up his aisle. He was making so many mistakes, I had to confront the 2nd assistant manager, whos somewhat aware of the situation. I found 5 mistakes in a 15 foot section. simple things regular tomato paste in the italian paste spot, Safeway crushed tomatoes in the Kuners diced tomatoes spot. How can you be 20 or 21 and not be able to read?

You shouldn't make fun of people that can't read - it's not polite!

I just haven't had my MSN turned on much Eric, and usually when it is I'ts stuck chatting with some woman or another... Sorry
I also don't turn on AIM very often.

That 1925 sounds intresting for the right person, I'm pretty much stuck with Essex body parts only but I do have some doors that I think might be that era of Ford. They came with my cars.

I'll be passing through Chilliwack on Wensday, and might be able to stop in at a hotrod shop on my way through, if you want to e-mail me an add along with some pic's and I'll post it on their bulitin board if they have 1.

Your friend can probably ask for a few dollars for it, and should even post it in the buy ands sell section on AF.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread Part 2

Because of immigration issues students are now banned from being patriotic:
http://cbs4denver.com/topstories/loc...094003340.html

How do you guys feel about the immigration issues? Personally, I don't see a problem with people coming here to work, but I think that the numbers should be limited and we should know who they are. I also think that all the illegal immigrants that were protesting stating that the government can't tell them what to do because they're not residents of the US should be deported and never allowed back in. That's like going to someone's house and telling them that you don't live there so they can't tell you not to piss in the floor.
