Re: Tamiya Nismo Z Tune R34 GT-R - With Engine !

Hey just got back from vacation and now looking through your progress and it looks great! Looks like you are going to have to make weld beads and the discoloration of the titanium.

PM me if you need high resolution pics and when I say high resoulution I mean this! (Yes, I'am hosting this pic)

Added some detail to the strut mount tops, sanded some more and primed it up. Strut Brace it just sitting in place for now!

Looks great!
Are weld beads added?
Also are you going to carbon the whole engine bay?

Thanks to Amuse (from http://www.spc.org.uk/forum/) for the photos of the real Nismo Exhaust, I was able to make a start scratch building the exhaust to the correct design. More work to do, but the general idea is there
The back box is the Tamiya one cut down the middle with a section removed to make the shape narrower.

Re: Tamiya Nismo Z Tune R34 GT-R - With Engine !

it looks great

one correction though-it's not a nismo exhaust, it is from Weldina which is a company that makes exhaust systems for nismo.....but thats ok cuz it doesn't really matter

Beautiful work! My only gripe is that I just moved so you're beating me to all the modifications that I was planning on doing! And doing them better, too. It makes me just love this build and hate this build at the same time... kidding, it's fantastic! I enjoy seeing your progress.
