good point on the plug cover. I'll have to fix that. No idea what I will use for wheels yet.

Re: Tamiya Supra Project
<<>>UPDATE<<>>
Started on the dash. I layed a shot of gunmetal down around the drivers instruments, then added some aluminum accents. I will be adding more detail later. ![]() Decided on the wheels. I chose to use the TE37's off the raybrig NSX. The rears were too wide, so I used the two front wheels from two different sets. I painted them with a coat of light gunmetal. Also, I fixed the valve cover (thanks again for pointing that out Jaymes) so that the whole plug cover was painted the same color. I painted over the already aluminum brake calipers with tamiya clear red acrylic. I also painted the window borders. ![]()

Re: Tamiya Supra Project
Looking great so far
Those rims look perfect on that car. That's the most realistic single setup i've seen on a model.

<<>>update<<>>
tidy'd up the dash. I'm going to use the poopra decal where you see it now, but that one's crooked, and will be replaced with a properly applied one. ![]() ![]() headlights and tails, rearviews, oil and dif cooler fabricated, aded CF stripe down the sides (I may use this idea but change it up a bit before its done, what do you think?). Also, I broke the penis off one of my TE37s, so the R32 wheel is on temporary like. ![]()

Re: Tamiya Supra Project
Very sexy build, all the scratchbuilt bolt-ons look great. I like the CF stripe idea, but I think it would look better running from taillight to headlight. Also, great call going wingless
, makes it look super-sleek.
