Re: Cold air intakes

Hehe, I told you the SRT-4 was fast. I had the great oportunity to drive one around the block here in downtown Kingsport. The owner, who works on our copiers here at the print shop, said, "make sure you are going straight before you get on it," I said ok. So I make a right turn on to another road and at about 15-20mph/~3000rpm in 1st gear and I punch it. It throws me back into the seat, hard, and a second later I get the lovely sensation of wheel hop. I said,"Wow!" He says, "see why I told you to be going straight."

Around the block I'm going about 25-30mph/~2800rpm in 2nd gear, I floor it and watch the boost gauge almost instantly jump to 14psi, I'm thrown back into the seat again, then I feel the sensation of being pushed even harder into the seat. I let off about four seconds later at 60mph, my heart is pounding, my adrenaline level is maxed out and I feel like I just had the coolest experience of my life, except for meeting the guys of Dream Theater and seeing them perform live. He says, "you've never drove a car with turbo?" No, but I have now.

The "radio groups" these days have lost creativity and skill. It's the same thing for five minutes.
