Amen.... i've scaled back my bashing to a minimal. Just leaving links for them to search through, unless they are really asking for it..

Meh, I said I would keep my mouth shut, but then he made a poor attempt at a cheap shot. But whatever. He should take a look into the car audio forum and see how many people side with him, and how many side with me as to how good his suppa awsum XpLOd! is.

I hardly ever see anyone with the ground effects. I wish I had gotten it, I could have, and also gotten the alloy wheels, but it would have been over a grand extra, and I knew i would have changed the wheels (which i already did), and always planned to kit it. But now I dont think I will, just lower it, and it would have looked good lowered with the ground effects. Nice ride though.

^^^ Not everyone has audiobahn or cerwin vega subs in their first cars. Look at me i don't have any, becuase to me i feel its a waste of money and extra weight that isn't needed. If he feels it was a good investment then that his own. We all start somewhere and work our way up and obtain our knowledge. Which you need to do and are gettin there slowly... I think you should get the type-J kit for your car and still should drop it! I think your too worried about bottoming out and getting the wrong info from others.

Re: Official Show off your car post and what your all about!

Well Guys, My name is Don. I live here in Central Florida just north of Orlando. My father owned a Parts Store in Louisville, Ky. many years ago and I got to work there. I became a certified mechanic in 1986 and it has long since expired. I now make my living at Veritas Software, not many cars here to fix. I also work security at one of the larger hospitals in the area (think Cops meets E.R.). I have 3 cars-all stock, a 1989 cavi 2.0, a 1994 cavi RS 2.2, and a 1998 Buick Century, and no photos to post. There stock so everyone knows what they look like anyway.

My best friend has a 00 sunfire, he kitted it, and he tells me it's annoying as hell. Then again, he isn't the best driver. But his car isn't even lowered. And theres a pretty big incline to pull into the driveway at my work, so I don't know if it's a good option for me. But where can I get this type J kit just so I can see what it looks like? And does it come in fiberglass or urethane?

http://rksport.com/product/p_02018100/view_detail

Its all urethane and RKsport is a well known business for GM parts. I think its one of the better kits for 03+

Re: Official Show off your car post and what your all about!

Ahh yes I've seen that one before. I think maybe it's a bit too flashy though. I was thinking of going with the Razzi kit.

Re: Official Show off your car post and what your all about!

I was thinking about getting my speakers for my stereo in my bedroom and putting them on my parcel shelf! What do you all think?
