no...but that should've been me!!! j/k...
I actually met her though! She goes to CalPoly Pomona...she used to live down the hall from my homegirl! She looks a lot better in the movie!

Did u hear about part 2 coming out??(fast & the furious)
It's like sponsored by "GM"
so i think it'll be like a muscle car vs. import kinda theme for the sequel.
But we'll see....

Girls that work on their own cars, rock!

BTWE, what kind of Jag do you have, an XJS? That's the only 2+2 one I can think of, or is the coupe the XJ6, I can't remember... Anywho, way before I got my Civic, I *ALMOST* got a '91 V12 XJS coupe.

I work on my cars!

Hey all! New member here!

I thought I'd check in and say that I work on my cars.

My first car was a 69 Buick Gran Sport. I helped my dad put the 455 in it. A couple years later I helped a boyfriend restore his 70 Chevelle SS 454.

Many, many, many cars later, I now have a 86 Civic Si that's my daily driver, and weekend autocrosser.

Sunday night I put the mounting clips for my seat harness in my car, and tomorrow I am putting new shocks on the front of the car. Okay, they're used, salvaged from a 86 Integra. I'm saving for adjustable shocks. Plus I think I'll adjust the back brakes for more rear brake power. (Better for left foot braking!) I really need to make my race tires last the rest of the season!

Allright, so I'm going to have some help with the shocks.

I can do it, I just wish someone else would do it for me.

OMG, a lady auto-x'er? That's awesome! :sun: I'm trying to get into auto-x myself, so I have much respect for other fellow auto-x'ers as well.

I do everything that I can myself to my car, but I'm not gonna mess my car up by acting like I know how to do something and I really don't. But if I don't do it myself, I'm watching what is being done. My car is my baby and I'm not gonna let someone mess her up.

Pacesetter 4-2-1 header, Pacesetter cat-back exhaust, body kit, H&R 2 1/4" lowering springs,

And yes, people do know how to do stuff other than changing bulbs!! :finger:

AEM CAI
Thermal Stealth Exhaust System
Kamikaze 4-1 Ceramic header

^^That's just my engine mods.. Can you tell what I'm setting up for?

i have one project civic that i currently have to drive (broke my foot...project is AT). this car has "issues" i have to start it and let it get an ecu code. then shut the car off and reset the ecu before it will make it out of the driveway. car has worse mood swings then me

ya'll suck

ya'll suck, its cool to race and shit, but just scrolling through your forum i've notice that most of you know jack about cars. not every girl here knows nothing, im not sexist or anything, but seriously dont talk like you know a lot about cars then say you've worked on your car when all you have really done is 'cange lightbulbs and brake calipers' thats bullshit. for those of you who actually do your own crap and know about internals and where to pull real horsepower out, im sorry. just my 2 cents to all those who get their boyfriend to install their cai. oh yeah, and civics blow, get a fast car if you're gonna race, well actually...all hondas blow, except the s2000, you're not fast without 25g's in it. im sure im about to get screwed by this, but whatever. later
