Pictures and progress like this are the main reason I buy some of these models. I have seen this kit on the bay and thought about buying it. IT looks very easy to build and seems like it would really outshine any model.
Brilliant work! Cannot wait for your next update. Chris |

just want to tease you guys =D
im back, its been so long like four months.... college really kicks and i got no time to play with my models... Recently, I sanded the body and polished... the clear looks much better now with the sun light. Just wanna tell everyone the car is not a dead stick and im still here not dead... the car will be complete... when I get home, I will post pictures of a MR2 I made for my girlfriend... I didn't do a whole write up on it so it'll be 100% complete project. Pictures of the GTR will be up asap once I put in the windows, and re-shoot the spoiler... some accident happened to it. Thanks for the uspport of this model guys! Best Wishes Peter BTW, have anyone else made another 1/12 GTR yet? ive not kept up on the forums so... yeah |

ok guys... basic build now is.... 100% complete... Im having trouble with AFs picture thing... four months and the whole system is revamped... so I ran the pictures off my xanga archives. Enjoy!
![]() I fine sanded the body with abraisve polishing sheets... from 3600 grit to 12000 grit... and then used model polish to rub it to a shine that you will see soon under the sun... much more effective than the ones in the thread before hand. ![]() I added the some piping from the radiator on the right, and then a electronic line on the right of the manifold, then drilled a hole and used aluminum piping to fit a rubber coated wire ontop to the face of the engine... I think that is something to measure the amount of air flow to the engine or something of the sort... and then the intake, I also added wires for the overall effect... still missing are the brake lines from the ABS distributor and some minor stuff like the battery lines and misc. cables and such for a overall fillment of the engine. ![]() all gauges and such are done... not much here... I can't flock yet... but I will learn to do so... and then the aluminum pedels are comming... just take the painted ones rightnow as decoys Wheel picture... polished aluminum metalizer for the metal effect and the "nissan" is on the calliper now I will post more of the car when I got more space and lighting... hope it was a good project followup for you guys.

Nicely done! Although may I suggest painting underneath the hood (if it hasn't been done yet) and using a pinvise to drill out the holes in the brakes...
