Re: Car modeling... confessions

If I spent as much time actually building models as I do thinking about them and reading about them on the interwebs, I'd actually have a lot more models completed!!!

Re: Car modeling... confessions

I love paint more than I love kits. I'm always looking for paint. I go to hobby lobby for paint. I travel 1 hour...for paint. I have enough paint to paint all of my built/unbuilt kits 3 times. I still have paint jars from 15 years ago that dried a long time ago
Did someone say paint?

Snap !!!!

What this old thing ? I've had it for ages...... It's a kit of a car from 1975, I could have hardly bought that yesterday, could I ???? (Harder to pull off when it's a Ferrari F2012 )

Just console yourself with the fact that she's probably doing the same thing with shoes, clothes, boots, handbags etc etc... Once it's in the cupboard, it's 'old'

Re: Car modeling... confessions

- Everytime I start a model, I tell to myself "I will do this one box-stock", and I ALWAYS end up adding all the detail I can, and spending in those details and materials 2 or 3 times the cost of the kit.

If I didn't spend so much time thinking about and online-researching for models while at work, I wouldn't have to do extra hours.

Re: Car modeling... confessions

My stash grows from the kits fornicating with one another at night. I've heard 'em.

At least that's what I tell my wife!
