forced induction should be the very last thing on your list lol

with out a good base or foundation that m90 or RSM SC is pointless on mostly stock low-end and your gains wont be nearly as amazing... opcorn:

learning from my GA, and im sure it applies to any car that you tune and upgrade... start small, in the end it'll pay off... UNLESS... lol you have the money to completely rebuild a engine and stage build everything at ONCE and have it tuned lol.. then ur just a showoff haha

I would love to do that with the g6 gxp comin out, get specs on the GXP.R ... swap in a LS2 gto engine

I like watching the grand american races... LS2 RWD tuned 450hp GXP.R G6s are racing in them, they're soooo nice

LS2's are nice, I like !

When they make the GXP AWD I'll buy one or the GTO when they bring that back in a few years

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Pirates 3, good movie... just very long!

Yesterday I took a trip down to Atlantic City, nice little 2 hour ride....Gambled a little... gave my money to Donald trump or who ever owns Caesars Place. After loosing close to 50 bucks in less then an hour I said No more! I walked away while i could otherwise 50 would have turned into 100 then so on.... It was an awesome day to be down there though. The weather was perfect, cuz after loosing my money I went to the beach!

Well enjoy your sunday everyone.

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

speedbuilt struts....

they're good, just dont over tighten or you'll end up bending the mount that you bolt on top.... did it both to the rear and front by accident lol, hopefully I can bend it out and retighten

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

KYB GR2 ftw

BTW... I've felt nauseous just about every day for the past 5 or 6 days... JUST nauseous, nothing else... I can't figure out what the hell is the cause of this, and I've rang up such high expenses lately due to kidney stones that I don't really want to go for another checkup or anything... anyone have any clue what this could be?

~grey goose~....

Is the heat getting to ya ?

Kidney stones suck from what I hear

Btw the trany is breaking in pretty good.
I have a good setup on the short shifts
and it realy bites down on the pavement well when under heavy throtle

Before when I did burnouts it would start posi trac then at about 10ft it would go to just one wheel spining.
Now it's posi all through take off, I'm pretty impressed how well it's working. opcorn:

Maybe Xi is right... is that grey goose getting to ya? HAHAH. I'm not one to help out with stomach problems, due to my lovely family background. the only suggestion I can make that "may" help is eat some yogurt. It's helped me tremdously with all my stomach problems. You may have an imbalance or possible a "bug" Dont let it go too long cuz that's when you find out it's more serious.

Xi: sounds like that tranny is working well! If you only came up with this much much sooner! So what's the chance of you getting a G6 and playing around with one of them?? they have a 6 speed... I'm sure you could beef that up plus i know the engine can be modded!! I think you should make it your next project car!

cost? I'd go for a G8 if they are RWD but that's just me... RWD ftw

But damn... tempting to get a G6 GXP...

edit: holy god the G8 has 362 hp... probably almost as expensive as a GTO...

oh I had a beer saturday and other than that I've not had anything to drink since... last week sometime. ugh I dont get this lol...

and yeah, they say kidney stones are more painful than labor. Since I have a Y chromosome I'll never need to experience labor (lol thank god), but I can just imagine. They hurt REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BAD.

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

g6 gxp for the win vipey lol

in the rolex races they have that ls2 6.0L gto engine in there in the g6 gxp... not only is that a plus for the g6 power but you can also supercharge a ls2, buy headers, do exhaust, do headwork and cams.... its a lightweight GTO! lol that can get even lighter! lol... thats just amazing

I would love to have a RWD LS2 GXP

I wonder how the tranny fits in there
