Re: Real name and age II
Hello. My name is Owen, I'm 21. I live in West Bend Wisconsin and I work at a resturuant called Noodles & Company. I'm a big Formula 1 and Le Mans fan and I do mianly those types of models. I've been modeling for about 7 years and I probably should be a lot better at it than I am.

Re: Real name and age II
It seems that I'm too young for this forum
!Only 16 years old, name is Siim-Kristjan and I'm from Põltsamaa in Estonia. I have done die-cast model cars since when I was 13, and made first model-kit when I were about 14 years old.

Re: Real name and age II
Real name is my on-line name, Dingo I got it because when I was born somewhere around 60 yrs ago my father was a Feral animal control officer (shooter) so he named me after the dingo.
As for my age well I tell everyone I'm nearly 60 so I'm sticking to that. My work well I'm a care provider no I didn't follow my fathers line of work although I do hunt but only for food, not sport or feral control. Dingo

Re: Real name and age II
Greetings All,
My name is Christopher, I'll lap the sun for the 45th time in April and I've been building plastic models, off and on, since I was a kid. I've been a rally fan since the late 70's and had hoped to get in on the Rally Tribute Build but, as we all know, life gets in the way sometimes. I'm a life-long BMW fan(atic) and drive the 1988 325ix pictured at left, which I raced to victory in the Open AWD Class of the 2004, SCCA Northern California Rally-X series. I have been collecting 1/24 rally car kits for the past few years and plan to build a 30"x40", "Legends of Rally" garage/shop diorama (approximately 5,000 sqft in scale). At "3,500 sqft", my current mock-up is too small as I now have seven cars, another on the way, and at least four or more to acquire prior to completion. I'll get some more pictures and start a WIP thread in the near future but, I should warn you all that, while usually thorough, I seldom work with blinding speed. I'm giving myself at least a year to complete this project. The world of plastic modeling has come light-years since my last builds and I've been enjoying my AF re-education! I've already begun applying some of the many things I've learned here so please, feel free to feedback freely. All the best! PS: Here's a sample of more to come in the WIP. Makinen's '99 Evo is just out of view in the lower right. ![]() The '54 Vincent Black Shadow is die-cast but will be "improved"
