Here is the mounting of gas-lift I mentioned before:

There are air vent holes behind door windows. They have meshes. I decided to reflect these feature on the model:

In the doorway of a real car we have nameplate and rubber covers.

As we have two couples of nameplate on decal sheet, I decided to use the second pair. I also used adhesive rubber band and mirror-like “Oracle” tape:

Umm, I Think You're insane, no offense =) That is very impressive detailing. I never opened any doors on a kit so I've never thought about the rubber seals on the door sills. I've put this thread to my favorite links so that I can keep up easily. You have serious modelling skills!

Unfortunatelly, when it comes to final assembling of all the modified parts, it goes harder and longer then you planed. Some parts reject to fit their places, even though you test fit them before without problem. So now I have to knock down the doors and adjust door trims and window frames again.
