I did try but I broke some parts so just given up....
next build gonna be Rossi's 2008 bike (Valencia edition), according the transkit's intstrucion I'm suppose to use 0.6mm wires instead of Tamiya hoses.... but I still think those are a bit thin next to those 0.4mm wires which come from the sensors.... anyway, we'll see

little update!
done a little more wiring fitted some small parts and finished the sensors!
I hope you like it! (not you Seventyseven, I guess you won't... na, just kidding! forget about those hoses.... )

I would love some more close ups on the electronics. Regarding the comparison in size, are you sure the sensor wire are .4 mm? Perhaps it shall be .3 or .2?

i do not see problems there, lol, but I am a newby, hehehe, I will be happy to build one just like it after I mess up 3-4 more bikes to learn, heheeh. To my eyes is a super awesome job.

I really appreciate pictures of these gp bikes with seat cowl and front fender on and the super detail sets in place. Looks like they were picked right out of the pitwalk collection series. Really nice and clean job so far!

That's a fantastic work Tom,
Congratulations on that build. There are a lot of Yamaha's detailed on Internet and not so much RC211 bikes... Looking at your pictures I'm starting to feel the need of start a new Motogp project!

That's one thing I'm looking everytime now... I always say the same, If I'm going to make a thing that is very very small, and it results bigger in the end, I prefer to remove that part. And this is the same for the wiring, if you take a wire of the bike and do the conversion for that scale, then the wire will be super thin...

I thought a couple of days ago to buy an extra tweezers

well, I was thinking to buy some new tweezers too....

to be honest I'm not even close to your modelingskill level Roca!
I'm using pretty basic tools and equipments and I guess don't feel confident enough to redo those things without messing the build up.
so that's why I leave it like this and next time I'll try to do it better!
I must say even with those little mistakes I am very very happy how this build turned up

I have some new pictures
the tyre decals are done and as my team mate, very kindly, pointed out about my mistake of the cable tensioners, I've painted those too...

Well done! Looks like there were no problems during painting. Waiting for decals.

One question: which way do you do the black inside painting? First the main colors and then the inside, or vice versa? I usually do the inside painting as the last phase, after clearing the outside. It is quite easy to clean possible overspray when using 2K clear as top coat and waterbased acrylics for the black.

well, I usually paint the inside of such parts then mask it off and spray the outide and after decals just clear it all around.
I don't know anything about 2K clear... I'm still using spray cans...

I just can't wait for the paint to get dry so I can polish it and apply decals

I've finished applying the decals!
had a little trouble with the sizes.... they are waaaaaay too oversized more like 1:9 scale... (letters are too "fat" and I couldn't fit all the decals what I was supposed to below them)
but overall I'm very happy with the result!
