so like i was asking before, how long would the stock struts last with GC coil overs and a ~1" drop?

Depends on the spring rate. The stiffer the spring, the more the shock is "just along for the ride" Theyd last a while, but probably would not be very effective at all.

Obviously, I can't drive my sedan sitting on it's tires... that wouldn't work.

I plan on driving and having it aligned and suspension preset for about a 2 inch drop...

BTW, around here, (Pennsylvania) they go by bumper height... can't be less than 2" off the ground, or more than 36" or something like that... the lower is correct, the lifting is a problem for me to remember.

well as soon as i ditch the mustang i'll pick up some gc sleeves and see how long the struts last lol...
