Re: McLaren GTR #019R For sale at Symbolic motors.

Cheers for clearing that up.

So basically the last person that owned it put it back in the LARK livery but left it as it was during JGTC races?

Re: McLaren GTR #019R For sale at Symbolic motors.

Bill Noon could confirm when (and why) the LARK livery was reapplied to 19R, but I believe it occurred between the time when the car left Japan and when it was sold by Symbolic to its previous owner here in the USA.

mayerSCF - you saw chassis #028. I'm surprised by the criticism of the color. I'm not generally a fan of red personally, but have seen many pics of this car and heard from others who have seen it and I think you might be the only one with that opinion.

The description of the color is quite humorous.

It may have faded a bit, but it is quite simply, florescent pink.

YES!!! That's exactly what I was thinking. I like the burgundy color on Mr. Bean's car or that GT longtail in Japan, and I love Nick Mason's red GTR, but this color...

I'll stop talking about the color now, still a wonderful car, regardless if it's pink, black, green, or blue.

Spotted at the Los Angeles Intl Airport (LAX) on June 2nd. Perhaps being readied for the trip home to England?
