(of course there are also 8 cylinder engines...)

Hmmm whats wrong with japanese sports cars.......they are a reasonably priced sports cars that many people can afford unlike lambo, ferrari etc, not everyone is well off and i disagree that you need v10/v12 as a modded supra could wipe the floor with a ferrari 355 and costs less than 1/4 of the price including all the mods....you obviously haven't experienced the feel of a sports car or a luxury one for that matter. if you have watched the 'the fast and the furious' the ferrari/supra race in that is balls, if you have been to a real drag racing event you would notice there are hardly any ferraris there, not because there arent as many, its because if you pay £100,000+ for your car you wont want to get beaten by a £20,000 supra....sorry if i have gone into one but what you say is NOT true...it may be different though as i live the UK and its hard to find any decent cars here cause the insurance costs a bomb...i have only seen one murcielago here and it is an awesome sight, the most common cars we get here are clamped out old european cars......

just because it isn't insanely fast doesn't mean its a shitty car.

lmao......an au supremo supra would wipe the floor with a corvette....you've probably only seen your own corvette and raced people with old sedans and what you said about wasting your money on a honda.... japanese cars are practical ones.... you couldnt drive the murcielago everyday unless you are rolling in it..you cant get a japanese production car for more than £60,000 anyway

I thought we got past all this east v west crap. Japanese cars are amazingly fast can be tuned fiercely and put out impressive figures (as do the american) and ....and can also go round corners without the driver needing to take a rest every few secs to rest his arms from trying to keep the twitchy tail flying out from all the oversteer.

American cars are fast? yes, american cars look good? well imho most cars in the us look like mince but that's just my opinion, ok the Z06 is pretty smart and the Viper has the mean aggressive bas look down cold but can they go round corners effectively? no.

American cars are great for america, long straight roads, not many turns but for elsewhere they need to actually use the steering wheel. Don't take this as a flame as I have been to many a forum and the same argument happens all the time, you get some proud as punch yank and they start flaming jap cars and saying usa!! usa!! usa is best, it get's tired so let's stop it before it starts!!

Please.

no offence is meant via this

OK pretty much i was just trying to say in my opinion that if i would be rich i would have so many cars except i wouldnt like to see and japenese cars especially cause they dont look good <to me> and they have like no heritage cmon 20 years and they covette is already 50 years old 2 and a half times more than those jap companies, so i was just saying if i were rich i just wouldnt want 1 in my garage , its my opinion my garage i just dont like em!:frog: :frog: :frog: :frog: :frog:

Sorry Menu for one more off topic comment:

I just read an article on the plane today in a magazine I bought at the airport. I cant remember the name but I think it was one of the popular car mags. Anyway in this article the author drove a Z06, a 911 and an NSX. He greatly preferred the NSX over the other two. Which shows that some people still have great enthusiasm for the NSX.

Out of the z06 and NSX in Gran Turismo 3, i prefer the NSX. The sound of its v6 is just crazy

well pennyho you compare 2 totally different types of cars.
one rally car (you probably mean the impreza wrx sti)
and the cruiser vette.
none of them is a real supercar.
of course both are sporty but i´m not which i would choose.
the gas prices here in germany are so high (about 1.35$ per litre!!!)
that i probably would go for the "subaru" but of course i like the corvette it´s a real nice car that has been improved much in the past years.

but i´m more a fan of german cars... more luxus and comfort...
or the total other site the real supercars of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

@ tony
yea that sounds like a nice test.
in june we will have the 24 hours on the nurburgring.
we have a mag in germany called "sport auto"... they test supercars like top gear in england and they are building up and NSX for the 24 hours.
of course they will have no chance against the m3 gtr from the ALMS series or abput 700 hp viper. but i think they will reach a good position under the first 10!
on the nurburgring a good knowledge of the track is important.
second important is the under carriage
and 3. is the power.
if i know the track perfect and would drive a m3 i would easyily beat someone in a mclaren or any ferrari...

well enjoy your sunday!

greets

Marius
