It was a blast yesterday at the Oakland coliseum...I did pretty good considering I'm running on street tires and havent done this in 10 years...
I think I will keep practicing at my jc's parking lot late at night on the weekends before I go and do real autocross ... taking out the system all the time is getting to be a pain, but I cant think of a good method of bolting the sub box down.

make like an oversized battery tie down that you can bolt into your floor, polish it up/paint it and it would look alright i think. just something to hold your box in place. i dunno just an idea.

As long as its legal to do that, then go for it...Autocrossing is not for everyone, but once you get into it, taking your speaker box once a month wont be that bad. You can ride in my car on one of my runs if you like and see for yourself...I'm sure we can borrow a helmet for a few minutes if you dont have one.

Anyway, back to this thread, Count me in for a Modesto meet...

sounds good to me, I will have to check and see how many cars I have to do. Cause it snowed you know. That means alot of accidents. Good for the biz, but bad for the free time.

wow, that's only like a little over a month from now, that doesnt give me that much time to fix up my car for the meet, and for redline civic hehehe..... it'll be a good run, i've ran crvtecs b4 and they are with me to the end, unless they are boosting or squeezing. but whatever it is i'll run it, i never turn down a challenge, unless my tranny, tires, or my motor is dying. it'll be close.
