I know someone who has seen it and he said it looked so bad that you would do better to start new. I notice you've been doing some pretty nice scratchbuilding. Why not take a shot at it?

For those asking about the P4/5, Scale Productions is working on one. He said it'll be a while until it's finished though.

Re: if you have that chance, which ferrari....

Honestly, I'd like to see better versions (like Fujimi's 250 GTO) of the 250 GT SWB California spider,, the 275 GTB/GTS Nart 4 spyder, and the 355 Berlinetta/spider.

I've been watching for this, and it looks very good, and being done with Jim's blessings!
Looking forward to seeing builds, and curious if they will develop possible variations of the P4/5C also, as it had different looks depending upon the timeline during it's racing career. The real car is now being converted back to street legal driving condition.

I completely agree, so many of the classic Ferrari I want to build are either old & hard to find kits which are only marginal in quality, or they are limited "curb side only" castings with +$100 price tags!

I'll have some exciting news for this in the coming months, stay tuned!

it's a very good question, there's a thread here speaks about the few 1:24 curbside only kits that can be had, and which NOT to get
best I have found is the Hotwheels, but is larger scale & diecast of course
personally, I don't like any of those I've seen, but then I'm not a fan of building just curbsides

In the resurrection of this ancient thread, I now say "LaFerrari". Tamiya. 1/24. NOW.

there is the stunning curbside model done by BBR yrs ago. I took several when they dismiss the production..special sale at a good affordable price .
It was a real bargain, shame on me I've already resold all of theme.

I think it's a given.
However, if Tamiya doesn't release the LaFerrari by...say summer 2014 at the latest, I'll seriously worry about the future of Tamiya's plastic model division.
