Re: At Sixes and Sevens: Super 7 Group Build
Seem you have kids in holiday away: you're working!!!!!!!!!
![]() Great job mate, I really start to love those wing fenders, interesting details (weel weights are just in "klutz style") and awesome weathering and washing on weels.

Re: At Sixes and Sevens: Super 7 Group Build
the engine bay looks great, but the electrical wiring is wholly inaccurate. it's lucas, after all -- and so should have corroded connections and wires spliced together with big blobs of black electrical tape.
and where's the oil leak?

Re: At Sixes and Sevens: Super 7 Group Build
Minor progress.
Have wired up the headlights using .25mm wire and some wider insulation for a gromet. Some mild dry brushing on the fitting. Sorry for the dust - macro mode turns the slightest mole hill into a mountain and I am just to lazy to worry about it at this stage. ![]() ![]() Thanks for lookiing in.

Re: At Sixes and Sevens: Super 7 Group Build
I am getting frustratingly close to finishing this. I promised myself I won’t start on my next 2 projects until this one is finished and I just lost 90% of time I had planned for this over the weekend.
I did manage to fix the dash and cowling in place permanently and added a gear lever made out of a regular sewing pin dipped in metal primer and then dipped in Vallejo Satin black. I also added some scratches to the interior panels with a toothpick dipped in aluminum paint to simulate some of the “wear and tear” caused by driver and passenger climbing into the car. ![]() I wired the radiator fan and I also glued the rotors in place and did a test fit with my version. 1.0 resin wheels to check the stance. I am pretty happy with how it is looking. ![]() ![]() ![]() I also made up the custom Prisoner number plates – KAR 120C (photo later) Next step will be polishing the body of all the thumb prints etc before final assembly. I am also waiting for some white wrapping wire to try and put the piping on the seats and rear cover. Thanks for looking in.

Re: At Sixes and Sevens: Super 7 Group Build
Nice progress, Steve, it will be finished soon.
It took you 90% of the weekends time to decide what to build next? ;-)) This shows, that you have too much unbuilt kits - just like me
