Re: Back to the Future III Diorama

Now the engine driver cab is united with the remaining one part the locomotive already built.
As in each case all provisional fastened therefore also the board hangs somewhat downward.

The tail range is now in the rough finished.

The part illustrated here shows the soil of the cab with the conclusion part at the late trailer coupling for the tender is installed.

Later a hand grip comes still on the left and on the right adhesive on the part.

Here one can again see which I with my structure of the model generally much designs in such a way around various parts later for the sake of simplicity without larger expenditure assembling (to stick) to be able.

Re: Back to the Future III Diorama

Just when I forget about this wonderful project you bring back an update!!! I love this thing. We rarely see a complete scratch build here, and this is the exact definition of that. Great job!

It is progerssing very well.
But won't the plastic melt when you light the fire in the boiler? This thing WILL work, won't it?

Re: Back to the Future III Diorama

I built the same train kit when I was a kid. I got it with pieces of the boxtops from other models. It was a give away they had back then. Later,Q

Re: Back to the Future III Diorama

Times small update.

' S goes there times around the water and sand „Dome “
Those were made of most diverse parts, the underbody are from the kit the cylinders from low-cut plastic disks those, set on it, were one above the other stuck to the desired height were reached.
The round crest on it is poured out of an Ü-egg and the parts evident on it is rims from any OFFICE kit.

And this part is the Firedoor (the fittings are missing naturally still)
Those one primed also most diverse plastic disks stuck and polished.

And the following parts participated me something headaches prepared to first: that was the crossbar in front to frames is fastened and onto secondly the " Cowcatcher" is then installed.
For the crossbar have I unfortunately no very meaningful pictures found after some hours in the Internet came I then on this result.

With the " Cowcatcher" I had plentifully pictorial material however with measured and proportions had I some paint myself vertan so that I this part to three times again change had.

if one now these parts to the locomotive provisional attaches
The Sierra looks now so out.

Continuation follows ..........

simply incredible !

I had the aoshima BTTF3 kit in my hands this afternoon, and thought "why not this kit, cheap, with a figurine...? would be nice..."
and then remember you WIP...
then I put it back into the rack and went out of the store...

impossible to buy this kit now...
I will never do justice to this kit after having seen that build !!
