I know someone makes Taurus's, but their NASCAR ones and not wagons with the full interior. I'll wait awhile and build one of my next car. Don't know what yet though.

I would build my car, but I need to order a Hachi Roku, hopefully getting it for Christmas, then i'll match it to my car with the bondo and everything, I'm gonna need to cut down a garbage bag to cover the driver side door, just like on my car

I'm actually working on a model of one of my real life vehicles now, a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT Sport. I'm using the AMT/ERTL 1997 Limited kit which is not exactly the greatest kit ut hey, gotta work with what you've got.
I've have to do some major mods to the rear end of the kit because the 98-01's have the plate cut out in the rear lift gate. Had to steal the back curved rear glass from a Tamiya Jeep Grand Cherokee I picked up real cheap on ebay for the nice tires from that kit for another project. Also, used one of the seats from the Tamiya kit to make the seats that are in my real seat and then gonna cast a copy for the passenger seat. The next mod I had to do was to convert the kit's grille into the 99-01 models style front bumper with the round fog light cut outs.
Other than that, the kit it basically stock. The only problem I am having is the wheels. No kits have my wheels and there is no way I am going to be able to scratchbuild them. Maybe I will just pick out a nice set of model wheels and then buy a set of real ones to match the kit.

Found Mine!!

I was on E-bay to day, and guess what i found. A 1989 Ford Taurus SHO. Its not exactly mine9mines a 1988 Taurus Wagon) but i'll try to make it look like it. Here's a pic of the box art.

This looks like my lucky day if nobody out bids me. Also check out this sight, has a lot of promos and odd models.

I have a kit of my motor that is in my 'to-do' pile. It's a Toyota Yaris (Echo/Vitz). There are a few modeifications to consider such as:

-converting it into a right hand drive.

-converting it from a 4 door into a 2 door.

-wheels.

-increasing the width of the front and rear bumpers to accept UK licence plates.

Shouldn't be too hard, I will post pics when I start it.

I have also purchased a Fujimi Golf MK3 to convert into my dads VW Vento. Now that'll be a rather interesting conversion.

i have been looking for one of those, for the bumper.

i am doing a shitty 1:25 model from all american models of the truck i am building in 1:1 scale. a 80's 2wd 2 door s10 blazer with a 350 small block chevy v8 conversion, th350 tranny, a phantom grill, shaved roof rack, 68 camaro tail lights, and a toyota truck bumper conversion . the kit i have coming to my house is resin and is only the body. i have to buy the s10 truck to get the hood ect... and have to do alot of mod work for the roof rack and phantom grill.

this is my first model since i was a kid, but i have been doing a lot of research on this site, so the 30 bucks i spent on the resin body, and the 10 i spent on the s10 truck doesnt go to waste. i am also in the middle of a 1:64 scale model(hotwheels) of the same truck. i had to get a 4x4, so the frame is gonna be custom, and i will get the engine and wheels off of a 100% hotwheels car(already got the wheels). this has become more of a challenge than i originally thought. the wheels are giving me trouble, and i am tring to figure out how i am gonna do the windows for such a little car.
