Saw a Corrado for the first time when I was 10, and I knew I had to have one. So I started saving money, everything I ever got/made/found went into my "Corrado fund". But by the time I turned 16 I figured I needed a motorcycle, bought the RS125.
So when it was time for me to buy the Corrado, I didn't have enough money to buy one in Norway, so I imported one from Germany. Later bought a '82 Golf GTi. Making it a grand total of two: '93 Corrado VR6 '82 Golf GTi |

Some people really do take the internet far to seriously!I never said a Skyline wasn't a slow car, all I did was mention that prehaps thier not the be all and end all of Japanese performance when so many ppl think they are, or prehaps I was pointing out that by being as fast as a standard turbo skyline my Civic is faster than it looks. You know GTs-t Skyline = Fast car. Civic as fast as Skyline. therefore Civic also = fast car. And Moon are you in some way implying that Andy dosn't know anything about her car becasue she's a women? How narrow minded! I certianly never made any mention of her gender, nor do I care. The Lotus Cortina I mentioned being 1sec faster around Taupo than my Triumph just so happened to have been driven by a women, but it has nothing to do with how well she can drive, or how much she knows about cars. Your the one who jumped to conclusions about Gender, subconcious thoughts coming up prehaps? oh, and thanks for telling me my car is FWD, now I know why it must be so slow. I guess thats means that any RWD car is by Virtue faster. Try opening your eyes to the fast that Nissan is not the only company in Japan to make performance models, and that prehaps they don't make the worlds greatest car. Especialy when a little shitty Honda Civic is just as fast out of the box. :finger:

And if you'll look through every post I've ever made, I never said that a Civic can't be fast. Once again, you are the one who puts down other people and their cars. I am well aware that Nissan isn't the be-all and end-all of performance cars (nor is a Civic, I have to say). And as far as being as fast or faster than a turbo Skyline, I'd be surprised. Let's look at power to weight, torque to weight, whatever you want. My guess is that you just give your car a bit more death than have the Skyline drivers you've gone up against. (Or they were non-turbo.) As for your car being FWD - now maybe you can stop whinging on about other people having autos. Probably not, but I can live in hope. Some people like auto, some like manual. Just like some people prefer RWD, some 4WD, and some even prefer FWD. Grow a brain, and stop ragging on other people and their cars. (Not really very moderator-like behaviour, I might add.)
