Re: Do you think this is a good deal?

In September I will be out in Illinois. About 2 hours out of Chicago though, near the Quad Cities. Just north of the Moline/Rock Island area.
Cordova has a 1/4 mile track.

You drive.

When the light goes green....you go.
After 1/4 mile...you slow down.

It does take practice. I still suck.

Re: Do you think this is a good deal?

I suggest not getting the car, youre gona drive who the beep nows where to possibly find something out that he did not tell you or "forgot" to mention or expect you'll over see that problem once youre there. Interior looks fd up and dirty eventhought its charcoal or black not sure, headers are rusty and lower part of the engine bay is dirty, also he live in a state where dirt roads are common so you know the cars got some dirt maybe even mud and water or rust under the chassis which is not gona show on the car.

Hey, you guys should come visit me down in St. Louie! We got a track down here, Gateway. Haven't been yet, but might be soon.

And about the car, I see a problem, no room in the engine bay! So, the twin turbos go where?

Re: Do you think this is a good deal?

I haven't looked up the price on www.nada.com (What banks and dealers use btw...NOT Kbb). That's a clean car, but I would never buy a car w/o test driving it and looking at it close up.

If you can get that car for 14k, I'd say its a good deal considering my 01 with 84k according to NADA was worth 13.5k. So what its 1 year older but less then 1/2 the miles my Z28 had. It looks like its pretty well taken care of but do a car fax and make sure that it isn't a car that was damaged during the hurricane/flooding/etc.
