please tell me your posts arent serious. if i remember correctly you have an 01? those dyno to 170 rwhp stock, a GT dynos around 225. not to mention the GT has about 80 more ft/lbs, torque is what wins races, not horsepower, also, with the stock open diff its is nearly impossible to hook up perfect as where the GTs have a t-lok but still have problems hooking up, if you were to race a non-PI mustang with stock 2.73 gears and you had every bolt-on with no F/I then i would say that was belivible, but a stock V-6 and a stock GT, no way in hell.

He doesn't have a stock V6, he turned it into a GT.

Don't you see, that's the beauty of it! He now has a real GT but his insurance company still thinks its a V6!! Quite ingenious really. Plus he saved a ton of money over buying a GT from the dealership.

gas milage is about the same on GT and V-8, some one over on mustangforums gets better milage in a GT with 3.73s and a vortch then my stock 6er gets.
