Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
The BBS rims were only a photoshop to show the builder how BBS rims would look on it

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
Thanx! The mirrors are from a 968, as are the door handles. I have a 968 bridge wing for the rear as well. Anyone have any tips for how to model that?
The Fuchs were only available as an option on the 86 turbo. In 87 they changed the wheel offsets and the Fuchs no longer fit ![]() I'm also going to try to copy the engine too. Any ideas for that? |

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
Nice car. The CUP wheels have always looked good on the 944 :-) Does anyone know where to get them 17" for 1/24 scale?

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
I've got a set for mine so I know they're around. I bought the model second hand from a rennlist member and he gave them to me. If you can't find them anywhere, I'll PM him to see where he got them. Good luck!
BTW - if you need any reference pics for your build - I'm happy to send you whatever you want ![]() EDIT- The "cup" wheels on my car are actually 993 wheels. If you can find a 993 model they should come with these wheels (although the 993 turbo has twists). |

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
Indeed the they are the 993's "cup." In 1:24 scale the only kit that I know that has them is from the Italeri Porsche 993 Cabriolet or you can source out a 1:24 Burago Porsche 993.
I like the engine bay, it's very different. Have you seen the 1:1 944 to 968 conversion kit? It gives the 944 more of a smoother look. Probably you can get some ideas from it. |

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo - Revell
I like the aggressive look of the 951 (mine has a Euro-style bumper which cleans things up considerably:
![]() I just like the look of the 968 spoiler |
