Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
Good gosh!!! How did I miss this thread?!? This looks freakin awsome man!!! I love how you are changing the bodywork and seats. Color combos are great too. Nice to see Ferraris in colors other than red. Keep up the great progress man!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
Quetly slow project.. well some few updates, I'm waiting TS13 cure perfecly to polish all so.. I make some practice with my new toy:
new alu shocks, oil filter, liquid reservoirs, ecc. ; also I post the same image on the mill/cnc group discussion thread. ![]() oil filter turned and milled (MPWR thanks for your f40 inspiring thread ) and pulleyes![]() just for reference the textile in the background is a smooth mouse-pad, imagine the scale factor ![]() ![]() well I'm working on the dashboard, just a couple of days ans I'll post something, thanks all for comments ciao giovanni

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
Terrific work, Gio! Those dampers and oil reservoirs are awesome. (May have to try that myself!) The small diameters on the dampers are particularly impressive.

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
Hey folks: some few updates and.. thanks all for your kind comments
![]() So far some engine's job on that V8: Looks like I done a "copy&paste" from the MPWR's TT thread, is right, thanks a lot my friend for this tip, but seem i need to try a couple time more to have a decent result ![]() 1- ferrari PE brand on the clean airbox, glued with a bit of CA ![]() 2- I steal those applicators from my dentist , I find out now to my LHS, not cheap at least![]() 3- tamiya white primer trought airbrush (I become to enjoy my new Iwata HP-CS, great- primer decanted from the can) ![]() I gently scratch out he paint from the PE part Do you mean when you shake a Coke can, Prosecco or Champagne? Well nothing like a little decanting jar, when you try to open.... SWWWWWWWWAMMM ink everywhere also after a couple of days ![]() ![]() Well: I spray a flat "Insigna red" over the primer, I put down the compressor's pressure and mix a thick paint to do some texture, after paint's curing I rescratch the paint from the PE with a sharp cutter ![]() ![]() This is the not-detailed engine: primed in gloss black than sprayed with AlcladII Polished Aluminium, washed after a couple days with acrylic flat black ![]()

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
Some other work on interiors:
I had to clone my own modyfied seats: 1- The clay's base for the silicon mold ![]() 2- The 2 shells mold ![]() 3-first few casted pieces: I had to correct some trouble doe to the thin seat's size in the half: so I had to do some "by-pass" symply cutting the silicone molds, last 2 parts (nr.4) should be ok but needs a lot of cleaning ![]() ![]() 4- a cleaned and just casted seat ![]() 5- primed parts ![]() 6- pre-shaded parts (with citadel acrilics-brown) ![]() 7- 1 hand of flesh (citadel) ![]() well looks like I have some work to do on this leather but I can see the way: an anticipation: I want the seam! stay tuned.

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
So far some job on the dashboard:
nothing new, all was explained from Alex Kustow in his thread and from Alessandro Prini in his one: the only difference is that I tried the "styrene way" insthead the "putty way" , so I have some chances to have a sharp place for the climas command w/out mill anything (almost anything) ![]() I cut out the clima and fill the new shape with styrene, than I fill with 2p.putty and finished with putty ![]() Well, soon with this part finishing: I design some PE parts for vents (I need a couple weeks to etch in a service):

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte
This system's performances are every day worst: it need 3-4 time to post.
![]() Well, finally some body works: body shell clearcoated with TS13 trought can, several thin coats followed from a couple of "almost wet" coats: quetly an appreciable orange peel as ever.![]() ![]() I cut down rought peel with 2000 followed to 4000 grit and polished a couple times with 3-step compounds, then waxed, not bad to me, better at naked eye ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks a lot everyone!
