Re: Cobalt SS n Civic (Si) opinions
Yeah that was a little much
and I have a subscription to C/D and Honda's and BMW's are always at the top GM/Ford usually near the bottom But I do have to say, for refinement in a 30k (Canadian) car, the RSX is incredible...but it doesn't compare in performance to the SS/SC and WRX and SRT-4...but The reason I like it was because it was high quality overall rather than just speed The question is can you say the same about the Civic Si's overall quality and refinement?

Re: Cobalt SS n Civic (Si) opinions
For the price of those cars, i'll take a Saturn Sky roadster. The seating is comfy, there's room even for me in there(i'm 6'3"). 170 HP 2.4 Ecotec, and it looks sexy. But that's just me, neither of those other two cars hold my interest for more than a passing glance. I like them for what they are, and what they're capable of, but....
I like this better...

Re: Cobalt SS n Civic (Si) opinions
I love the new GM roadsters. They're even coming out with a Turbocharged version of the Solstice that'll have over 270 bhp. But, what the hell is a roadster good for other than going for a cruise with yourself and ONE passenger or zipping along some twisties(although it would be a very fun vehicle for these two tasks). Other than that it's got no real utility. I needed a daily driver to replace my truck that has some real trunk space and can hold a few passengers comfortably.
The SS/SC was just a pefect mix of functionality and fun factor and it was at the right price. So it worked out for me just fine.

Re: Cobalt SS n Civic (Si) opinions
that solstice is slower than the miata
and its quite heavy for what it is, lets hope the turbo version has some speed
