hey, that's not fair

Besides, I didn't say my car was faster than yours, I just said it was better. :finger:

I'll race your hatch as she sits right now though.

i dont think my hatch would even move. I yanked the engine out of it already. I should be getting a call from the dealer some time next week when they have another hatch for me.

Hey, don't apologize, do it more often. We like fresh ideas.

Oh, and on a side note...maybe we should ask the all knowing about which are better....

Sorry guys.

lol. Okay, I'm going to have to pull a geekdom post on you.

In ancient Rome, around the time of the colusseum, if the emporer were to point his thumb down, it means the gladiator's (and/or slave's) life was to be spared. If he pointed his thumb up, it means death. Pretty much the reversal of our thumbs-up and thumbs-down meaning.

So, in a sense, since you are using a image supposedly set in ancient Rome, you're giving hatches your approval, and hence saying that hatches are better than coupes.

Well then why did they have it wrong in the movie?? :hehe: Okay, you got me there, but I'm gonna have to brand you as a nerd from now on. lol It's all cool

And if you wanna get really technical, the image was set in present day Hollywood, so in essence, it's still right by todays standards.

Coupes are still better

They got it wrong in the movie because it's easier to do that than try and explain to the audience why it's backwards.

And I prefer the term 'geek'

Coupes are better than Sedans, but still not as good as Hatchbacks

Okay, Mr. "Geek"

Just like emad said, hatchbacks are just mini minivans.

A hatchback is just a coupe the designer got bored of so he just threw on a makeshift rear end and called it a day

Actually a mini minivan would be a wagon. Hatchbacks only have 2 doors.

Minivan (4 doors and hatch):

Wagon (4 doors and hatch):

Hatchback (2 doors and hatch):

Class dismissed

I'm gonna throw a serious curve into this, and I'm sorry for saying so Lindy, but... If I was to need to for any reaso get another Honda, I'd get a 5th gen hatch. They are astetically pleasing, well if I learn stick by then, it'll be a 6th gen Si instead! So the coupe will still live with me, but I AM partial to the 5th gen hatch, I can't deny that.

But since I drive a coupe, I have to say "2 dorrs and NO hatch for life!" So what would you classify your Rex as, Shaun? And damn you for your history knowledge. LOL!
