Adding P11 parts to P10 G20s

Ive added a P11 Front End to my P10 G20 and it looks great, e-mail me for pics. NinjaCar also added a Custom Black Widow Front End kit to my old early 93 G20, and it looked perfect. Fit like a glove. The BW Kit fit better than the stock bumper.

Adding P11 parts to P10 G20s

That last pic showed my 93.5 P10 G20 with a P11 G20 Front End and the P11 Rear Factory Infiniti G20 Spoiler also mounted on, I will be adding the P11 Infiniti G20 Side Skirts and a different kind of rear bumper that extrends downward to match the side skirt length, because the stock P11 G20 Rear Bumper Fascia WILL NOT fit, under any circumstance, the P10 G20. I found out the hard way, spending nearly $625 on three new P11 rear ends and cutting them to fit. The P11 Trunk dips down to sort of "Overlay" the center of the P11 rear bumper, so, when you go to mount it on your P10, you end up with a 16 inch hole under the bottom of the rear P10 deck lid, letting see all the rivets in the P10 Rear bumper itself. Very un-attractive. Youll want to go with a Fiberglass bumper of some kinda, that way you can cut and add fiberglass to make it fit better. P11 G20 rear Bumper Fascias are made of Plastic, making it hard to work with. I have also tried mounting the P11 G20 Rear Tail Lamp fixtures in the P10 Model G20, they also do not fit, the P11 has more of a sharp curve on the outside tail lamps that are bolted to the body (off the trunk). It is possible to mount the P11 Trunk tail lights onto the trunk, but you may find yourslef drilling some holes in your trunk to match the mounting screws for the P11 Tail lamps, also, there is a plastic molding that is attached to the trunk lamps for the P11 fixtures, you can remove it, but it may damage it in the long run. This Plastic grey attractive molding has a center peice that runs along the cnter of the trunk so you can see it, its all for looks, but unless you wanna do some tacky glue-ing of this piece, it wont reliably fit your P10 Deck lid. We Have also attempted at exchanging P11 Headlamps, Hood, and even Front Quarter panels. None of these items will fit fron chasis of the P10 model G20 becuase of Nissan completely reconstructed the front end of the vehicle, thats why they have a different chasis code, P11. The headlamp fixtures for the P11 will not fit the P10 because of the change in construction of the radiator core support. (The Entire Metal Framing Of the Front engine compartment) The core support on both models is basically the building block for the all front end body parts. Everything including headlamp fixtures relies on this frame. The Hood will not mount because the headlamps wont mount. Same with the corner turn signals, making the P11 Front Quarter panels unmountable. In order to modify the radiator core support, you would have to cut and weld a whole new core support in, pulling out the engine and tranny, and all parts out of the engine bay and off the front of the car. Basically you would have to cut the entire fron end of the car off from the firewall and start over. I hope this information was helpfull and saves you the cost of buying parts and having to risk a No-Return Policy. If you have any other questions, let me know. [email protected]

Mounting P11 parts to P10 G20s

I installed this bumper myself with little mods to it. Ive heard people Cut the bottom half of the P11 Fascia off at the molding line, and use double stick tape to attach to the P10 Upper half. All parts behind the bumper stay in the same place, The Only modss you will have to do to the fascia is take a sharp razor blade, and cut a clean line, from the center of the bumper, out to the mounting points on either side of the fascia. Making a clean flush mounting under the headlamp fixture trim, just above the bumper. Cutting will take away Mount points on the Fascia. It is easy to make new mounting Brackets for this by taking two (2), Four (4) inch pieces of one quarter (1/4) inch thick, and one half (1/2) inch wide metal pieces and bending them both into an "L" Shape. Heat these metal pieces with a torch. Push these into the inside of the Bumper Fascia, on both ends where the mounting points that were cut off, These will melt into the bumper. I coated these with "5 Second Nail Glue" (sounds funny, but worked for me), using the entire bottle on both brackets. Then, after this has dried coat these with Epoxy to reinforce the bracket to the fascia. Drill a whole on the top of the "L" on the bracket to make a hole for the bolt to come through, use the same stock bolt and 10mm Fine threat nuts. You may want to put washers on all sides to make a more reliable contact. Reinsert the styrofoam padding inside the front of the fascia, which is used to make a tighter fit around the actual metal bumper. Then mount it to the front. The P11 Fascia is a bit longer on the mounting sides, and my hang over the fender a small amount. A small amount of sandable fiberglass may be needed to fill in these gaps. I recommend painting the Fascia after all of these procedures are completed. You will then want to tighten it down with zip ties. Use Large Zip Ties to tie the bottom of the Fascia to the Transmission, and other underbody components. Hopefully this information was helpfull in mounting the P11 Bumper on the P10 Front End.

There was never any arugment or doubt. You can put any body part on any car if you have enough money, skills, tools to get it done...

I just think there were some curious P10 owners wondering how hard it would be, thats all...

I think they're all out now buying P11 bumper, saws, duct tape, and glue, lol :sun:
