You should check up on electronical speed limiters, cause a stock STi first off will not hit 160 even if it had its limiter removed, second given enough room I am sure they could get going good but they do not accelerate up top like they do off the line due to AWD drag and aerodynamics.

LT1 has 285-290 hp if im not mistaken. thats at the fly too. of course w/ bolt ons that number looks alot better....

Cops got special edition 1LE LT1's and LT1's typically show 255 horse stock on dyno's for 6 speed's and 240 - 245 for Auto's anyone knowing about drivetrain loss can calculate much like the LS1 counterpart they are under rated and as for a STi , go check out how much they lose threw the AWD drivetrain. I think you will be interested to see what they deliver to the ground.

Only Copmaros have this done.. well all cops have the same thing done but get different results.. all cop cars get their speedometer altered, cop tires, cop suspension, and a special chip which is what boosts the LT1 HP from 270-280 to 350

im sure the STi only has like 220 to the wheels. i know the stock WRX w/ 227 hp gets like 170 to the ground......terrible.
