Re: WIP. Tamiya Veilside/Bomex Supra

this is coming along REAL nice. I just noticed this thread, and it was worth the look. You are doing an EXCELLENT job on all of the plastic and putty work. Can't wait to see more!

I've just read the rest of this tread, very good! You've got some good plastic skills!

Will you put a wing on it?

Thumbs up Re: WIP. Tamiya Veilside/Bomex Supra

I probably should not be looking at this, I have not had any time lately to work on any of my projects and this does not help. It's looking great and makes me wanna make some time again but damn it seems impossible for me right now.

Killer progress, I really like it. IMO I am a fan of the single turbo conversion so that is what I would suggest, I have a pic of my back burner Supra I did like this and you can compare to yours to see which way you would like to go.

Good luck with finishing!

Well.. I have thought of the single turbo. But for a street car I believe the double turbo are more useful. Besides I have taken the inspiration for double turbo from Twinsturbo project car. Tanks for your opinion.

Re: WIP. Tamiya Veilside/Bomex Supra

Well at last some progress. I redesigned the front end
a bit.. The old one was not enough streamlined. And it
would actually have reduced the speed capabilities. So
the bottom part of the air inlet have been cutaway and
levelled with the spoiler. The rear has also been modified.
The original Supra wing and the bodywork underneath the
wing on the hatch, have been modified to give more down
force than original, hard to se in the pics though.
I have also bought a Sard Supra witch I am going to take
the interior from. But of curse it will be a more original
looking interior than the full racing one.

Wow, that bodywork looks fantastic so far, I really like it. What colour is it going to be?

And also, your engine pictures are not showing up for me.
