i just did that to prove my point. you obviously dont bein like to be called that shit. if a slow car was called a cracker-mobiel or sumthin, then you would be feelin wut im feelin. now picture me callin you car a red neck mobiel, you wouldnt take that right? mayB youd try and talk me outa usin that kinda words or jus sock me in tha face. Either way i think u would b pissed. Now picture some one comin in and laughin in your face and tellin you to loosen up. and my excuse is that i was talkin about your car, not you. And i call every mustang i see a cracker-mobiel. Do you think thats fair? i wouldnt think so, but if you dont mind then you can call me a ricer.

Look pal, all I am trying to say is that the term "RICE" is not racist, "CRACKER" however is. Now if I said look at the gook mobile, or that chink ride, that would be uncalled for and racist. I will stick to calling cars that fit my description "RICE" because it is not racist because I call domestic cars rice as well, not just "CERTAIN" imports.
I don't know, why don't you show us a pic of your car and I will tell you if I think it is rice or not. |

Holy shit! Some people got really pissed off since the last time I read posts here. What’s up with that shit? Just because I want to put in my 2 cents I'll say a little bit too. For one Polygon made a very good point there are way worse ways "ricey" cars could be referred to as. I also think that it is asinine to say that just because some one is what the raciest term refers too gives them the right to use it anymore than someone else. I mean just cause I'm a white guy doesn’t mean I have anymore of a right to call a fellow white person a "cracker" than a black, Asian, Mexican or any other person does. Now it is very true that the term "rice burner" when it was first said what intended to imply to any cars from Asian or Japanese manufs. It does not however mean anything bad toward the PEOPLE that produce the automobile just the automobile itself. The term has since been changed to be applied to cars of all origins that fit under any number of criteria, be that it's style, size, etc. are a certain way. As a few people have pointed out words like "n*gga" have been used so many different ways now that the original hateful meanings are all but gone. To wrap this up words are only raciest if you see them that way. Words are nothing but a combination of letters the definitions of them are created by their usage. in other words, any word can be derogatory, it is simply the context in which the word is used and the feelings of the speaker of the word at the time the word is spoken.
does this qualify as a good enough point on which to settle this debate???
