Anyone that mistakes an SS for a V6 deserves to have their ass handed to them. They have different spoilers, hoods, badging, interiors, wheels, and what i would think to be the most noticeable difference, the sound. An SS has a distinct V8 rumble to it, and if you cant differentiate between that and the whine of a 3.8l V6, i say you deserve to get your ass tossed

That's pretty gross.
Hey it's possible. I was at a race meet, and this guy with a GSR was breaking off a lot of peeps. And I pulled my Corolla up and he thought it was a Sentra. And then my friend brought up his Civic Si, with the DOHC Vtec sticker on the side, and he wanted to race the GSR and the guy was all, "Man I'll smoke this DX..."
Oh and Mellowboy, misunderstanding something that's confusing is understandable. Do you understand that?
Don't start giving me attitude, this can go in many directions.
First off... A Mustang GT 1998 Automatic SHOULD beat an Integra GSR right? Well my friend has a GSR and he beat an automatic 1998 Mustang GT from start to 89 mph, are you gonna tell me it takes some godlike skills to press the gas really hard? Those are supposed to be mid 14 second cars stock.

Hey BlackCamaroSS, maybe the reason you have a hard time identifying import cars and trim levels is because of all the civic GTR's and Corolla type-r's and dohc vtec neons out there. Honestly, if I wasn't into them, I might be a little confused too

lol... Dude I saw a Maxima with a Type R sticker on the back, and his hubs were painted red.

And the worst was when I saw a Neon with the SiR badge on his tail under his signal light.

And then my friend bought a Stratus, and he put a GTR badge on the back and he got red winshield wipers... I was like "WTF?" He got what he deserved though, his winshield wipers faded in sunlight and turned into metallic pink, and he tried to rip the GTR badge off and it left all the glue on with parts of the paper. I was like "That's what you get for driving an automatic 2.4l Stratus and putting a GTR sticker on the back..."

Cybercrx00, it gets damn hard trying to figure out who's who, when all I have to go on is badging. When y'all change your stance, put new rims on it, new badges, lower your cars, it takes forever to realize what's really under the hood. Unless I know you and your car, the only way to find out is to race. It just happens that way sometimes.

Dude, did it ever occur to you that some people are insulting the idiots that overuse the badges by putting on badges that don't belong at all?? For instance, an SiR badge is definately inappropriate for a neon or domestic car, but it would fit if on a civic if someone had done some special stuff. However, its widely known that 80% or more of civics that have badges are just for show and don't mean crap. Therefore, the person in a Neon does it to insult all of those idiots. U know who I'm talkin bout, the ones that have a VTEC sticker on their DX civics with euro taillights and the hubcaps removed for "ultralight black colored rims." I mean I put an SiR badge on my bare bones stock '93 Lumina rollin on 14" hubs (get it, rymes with "dubs" and goes better with the ladies ;-) ), and its not even the euro lumina and it has the MFI engine instead of the more powerful SFI engine, neither of which have more horsepower than a B16 160 hp Si engine. Of course there are loads more torque than any 4 cylinder honda engine but then again it is twice as big as most of their 4 cylinders.

I'll have to get a picture of my SiR Lumina, its badass :-D. Except some Civic idiot took off the SiR sticker for a while and now it don't stick right.

Well, I live in Miami, and things are different here cuz we have like the poorest city in the country with people that focus more on looks than performance most of the time (which is not so bad on its own, but they shouldn't be claiming performance if they don't have any). Yeah, things been goin down ever since drug trafficing slowed down from the 80's

You actually have a good point. I bet that is the case in a lot of instances. That is the case actually with my avatar because obviouslly I don't drive a honda. For a while i even wanted to put a sticker on my car that said with 20% more Vtec to make fun of all the honda rice boys that have the Vtec stickers but have non vtech engines.

Does VVTL-i make you want to go on a killing spree too? Cuz its basically copied and improved VTEC by Toyota (although it still seems to be in its begining stages as it only beats some VTECs matches others and is behind a few, as far as hp per liter goes). Or maybe thats kinda good cuz it means they envy what Honda has been doing. Dunno why i just said that irrelevant crap, just wanted to bring up a new issue i guess.
