Auto zone has the paint. Duplicolor engine paint worked for me for the last four years. Caught ya. just don't get brake fluid on it.

those are plates that hold the mechanism for his hood pins, he chose that insetead of drilling into his headlight support, also they are removable incase he wants to go back to his stock hood
