Re: Re: Progress: Bimota Tesi “Custom”

Hi Sasa, I must thank you for your explanation and I must admit, you know more about this bike than me. I did know, that Bimotas are expensive and that the way they attached the front wheel has more disadvantages, especially when riding on the race-track. So this time I learned from you about my model :-))) Once again, thankx Sasa. The wire-lines I used are not from Modelers. These are not bad, but expensive and stiff. I use a synthetic material, which is available for me 1 mm (here the brake lines) and 1,5 mm thick and white. You can make very narrow curves and after you fixed in at the model, just put your brush with thinned silver colour to it and the white material sucks the colour from the brush. While drying the material gets a little more stiff and stays in its position. The material is hard to find, if you have some interest in it, send me a mail. Micha |

Hi joel
As I know only the 2 width are available and -of course- the smaller one is out of scale. However I think the impression should be adequate. F.e. if you try to wire an engine with every wire existing at the 1:1 car you probably won´t see the engine anymore. Micha |
