Re: In progress : Toyota Celica GT4 - 24 uur Ypres 1996 - Loix - Tamiya 1/24

Your Celica looks outstanding, love the ability to stip down the front end. The Marloboro livery is stunning and well executed.
Did you widen the track at all or is it the transkit wheels that bring them out like that?

My father always told me that all cars are female due to their being tempermental.

These are the last pictures of this model in this thread.

At the back I built in the tail lights, I scratch-built the fasteners, I added the heat shield for the exhaust and I scratch-built the mud flaps.

At the front I finished the blinkers, I added a tow-eye with mark, I spraypainted the small headlights fluo-red and built them in, I added the spoiler-lips at the bottom and I scratch-built the fasteners.

If you want to see how the completed model looks, take a look here :

Quite simple actually : just drill the holes and cut an electric wire in small pieces and glue them in. The secret lies in the drybrushing job (I think).

No, but I had to make the rims fit to the suspension because without any trimming the rims were about half a centimeter too wide. So I trimmed them at the inside, making sure that they would sit exactly at the same width as the rest of the body...

Yes I do actually. I'll have to scan it to show it here, but believe me, it does show the CF-tunnel.
