A car club I helped start, Skylines Downunder, lost it's webhosting for its forums. Igor agreed to host it here. Once SDU got their shit sorted they moved on, but I stayed here also. Hence there was a huge New Zealand section in AF/Skyline area for a very long time

Re: What was it that brought you to AF?

Seemed like most searches I did on Google kept bringing me back here, so I figured I might as well register.

Its funny, but I found AF at the end of 2001 but did not register since I was only browsing around collecting links from other forums (small and large) that had any thing pertaining to my vehicle. After I became a mod on another site and creating a modification page for my vehicle, I went back to double check if the links were still up and re-discovered it again. Thats when I officially joined (Sept/2002). While I am a mod at three other sites, I like the vbulletin format much much better and spend most of my time here.

So it seems that you guys are stuck with The Pesky Mod for now.

I think I remember you telling me about how some guys on Central Illinois Imports had said something. Weird enough, you're the one who told me I should join.

Re: What was it that brought you to AF?

askjeeves.com. I was searching for MR2 stuffbecause I wanted to know how much it would cost me to mod a MR2 and then throw in a Ferrari F355 body on it to make it a kit car. Kinda realised that it won't be possible for a 16 years old, but stayed and later on joined. I just got my written test done, so I'll get my car eventually...which is more like 2 years

Re: What was it that brought you to AF?

i was just typing in car stuff on search engines and had joined a few diff sites, but when i seen this one and how big it was, it was like, gosh this place is huge!!

it was like 3 days after i joined i ended up in a race with a moderator from here and didnt even know it.
i then read a story in the street racing forums called, murdered by a 3000gt and it just happen to be me.
