Yep commandant can be very good for things like that, helped me out many times. Just be careful not to brush to hard with the lower numbers commandant.

Does it polish the car? If yes than it won´t become any better anymore after they´ve polished it with the machine!

Hi,

VTEC is a technology term and VTi a class with in a model and they are not the same.

For exemple, you have a lot of VTEC engines (civic 1.5, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0) both SOHC and DOHC. On the model line upt only the DOHC VTEC are called VTi. All the DOHC VTEC engines make something like 100 bhp per litre while all the other ones make much less then that.

Kind regards,

Sounds good to me! Were you able to feel a big difference after having installed the CAI, exhaust and gutted cat?

After installed the CAI the biggest diference I felt was on the noise section (specially above 4.000 and with WOT its a very deep resonance inside the car), after the VTEC kicks in (+-5600) it's so race alike that I became addicted .

The biggest diference you may feel is on the exhaust and specially the cat. The engine revs much faster and its a missile untill reaching the redline. Using the mid section like I do (JDM Type-R spec.) it makes a high pitch noise near 3.000 and after 6.000 (but in this section the cai is louder ).

I'm going to test it with a N1 muffler during the next week end on a track day but I guess I have to use big cotton balls on my ears .
