Try using these codes. These radios are lucky if nothing else to ever find another home. The codes should have been given to you at the time of purchase. Here are a few from another form the 1165 worked for me.

My problem is not getting the code - I have my code, but when I try to enter it, nothing happens. The display says COD ----, I enter my code and the display just goes back to COD ----. Any ideas? I have used the code before and it worked. (Funny thing is, it's asking for the code, even though the radio has not been disconnected nor has the battery died, so I don't even know why it's asking.)

Hey I got my code in like 6 hrs i sent E- mail to
[email protected] just give them the serial # and got it within hrs free . Wife is happy
