Subaru Wrx Sti Spec Ra Type C Cars Are Twice As Good As The Skylines In Japan Year For Year Model For Model.... If We Could Get Those Here I Would Buy One. I Have A Friend Who Builds Them Here But They Are Not The Same Because Of The Added Weight For The American Door Beams And Bumpers And Such.

15Hp more are you crazy????????????? The Navigator motor put out around 310-330Hp the R put out 395hp, thats more than a 15hp diff. You can imagine how just adding a decent intake system got them to 395hp. You can mod a Cobra block to put out 500hp N/a after a complete blueprint of the engine, but you can get 750hp out of the same 2.6L I6 by bolting on shit, the skylines and imports have proved that they are built way way better than domestic engines, check these links out.

Try pumping out, not 700hp, not even 600hp try, 500hp from bolt ons like NOS, Turbo, or SC, and you tell me how far your Cobra will keep that power up.
I know, I know there are 500hp and 600hp Cobras out there on stock internals, I know guys with them, but don't forget that that is a V8 4.6L, 5.4L engines, and at that power level they become unreliable, there folks with 750hp to the wheels of their skylines and supras running all day, try that with a Ford engine and see what happens. And what kills me is that the skylines and supras are the Mustang and camaros of J-land, yet the level of engineering and performance is rivalled here by 80K cars. The so well respected M3 we finally got, is like a cobra on the street in UK, this was the first time we got the exact power output as that of englands, before our M3s' were weaker. Hell the 200hp SVT contour we have is the baseline Ford Mondeo in britain, they don't have the stock contour, then they have a performance version putting out 240hp N/A, the escort they had when I lived there was way more beautiful than the piece of crap we have here.

I am not saying that Ford cannot build quality cars, I am saying they build crapy cars for the states, I don't know if you read when Ford built a mustang for Germany, they built a whole new Cobra putting out 750HP as the stock Stang, can you believe that 750hp, no 296hp GT, no 200hp V6, and this is coming from an american auto company. How do you build crapy cars for your own and then when building for someone else you take them the cream of the crop. So sorry if I have no respect for domestics, it's not that I like foreign shit, I have been around the world to see what they make out there compared to the shit they sale over here. Hell Britain had the GTO before us as a Holden HSV back when the Cadillac catera came out, guess what, they brought us the V6 and then built the HSV with a V8 for UK, then 9yrs later, they change the lights and some small upgrades and start bragging about the new reborn GTO, FUCK that man, that is bull shit, How does a country that pays almost $1.50 for a liter of gas which is around $4.50 per gallon get the 5.7L V8 and yet we get a 3.0 V6.

And also, if those wrx were so formidable why aren't they #1 on any races, other than off road rally, they cannot beat a skyline, this was a car built to dominate the 1/4 mile and built to have unmatched handling. Sorry but there is no way a cobra can out handle a Skyline not even a freaking WRX, no way. If a skyline can beat the same porches that beat the saleens, and is said to have the capability to run with the dodge and vettes?????? how do you expect me to believe that a Cobra is better, these are professsionals saying this, not your every day ricer.

have you seen any spec shets or test results or are you talking for your opinions? There are more WRX's sold than skylines. I'm sorry but .94g's is not that great of a handling car! The WRX STI SPEC RA Type C is has 1.01g on the skid pad 335 awhp, shorter stop distance by 15 feet, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, and a quarter of 12.9 sec.

Lets see a stock r34 Skyline do that..... it can't.

That WRX you are talking about is obviously not a standard model. It's a performance model. How does it compare to the R34 GTR V-spec? DOn't get me wrong, I like Imprezas too, but I would deffinately rather take a Skyline anyday.

There you go again tryin to compare the STOCK Skyline to upgraded versions of other cars, first you started with the GTR Vs Cobra R, then now the WRX Spec RA type C, these are upgraded versions, why not the stock Cobra, WRX, and GTR, then the Cobra R, STI Type C, and V-spec GTR, the outcome will be the same in both I bet, Skyline #1, WRX #2, and Cobra #3, OH, and don't forget that the Cobra is already an up graded GT, and the GT is an upgraded V6 stang.
V-Spec GTR will smoke both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I got this guy with a 02 Cobra with the Cobra R front facia and Hood, and the big wing, it is silky Black, got to have one of them bitches, but with a saleen rear bumper, the ASS looks incomplete the way they left it hanging up there like those NACARS.
