i'm not going to throw more gas on the fire, since i entered this argument late.

but i will say that 1via, your thick-headedness never ceases to amaze me.

if you sat down and took one look at yourself, long and hard, you'd realize that you come off as just the type of person you hate.

why do police crack-down more on drifting these days? because of people like you who do it in the streets. and btw, i'm sure you're SUCH a huge touge monster in your big heavy automatic car...

Formula D is all well and good. it gives some of the smaller guys a chance to show off. the only thing i don't like is the Mopar sponsorship. as i was telling Dorikin over MSN, i think Hubinette sold out. i personally wouldn't accept any offers from HUGE names like Mopar, GM or anything like that. if it were a small company/garage wanting me to drive their car to gain exposure, then i guess i'd help. but a big company, no way. not even Nissan or Toyota. drifting to me is just supposed to be about fun, not about how many times you win or how much money or exposure you get. i couldn't care less if a bunch of riceboys knew my name at a competition. i drift for me and me alone. there's a D1 driver search coming to Canada in August. i'll probably enter, but if i don't move on, i won't care. as long as i had fun doing it.

corporations are trying to make drifting some big "competition". in reality, i think drifting should not be a competition at all. everything should be like a Club4AG drift day, where everyone just goes out, does there thing, gains knowledge and experience, and has fun doing it.


oh, btw Octagon. D1 has only been in operation since 2001.

i don't give a rat's ass when the D1 was started. i did not get my info from Super Street. in fact i have hated that magazine since day 1 and only use it to cut out the pictures of the nice cars they do articles on. the rest is used to line the bottom of my bird's cage. i found out about drifting in 1997, WHEN I WENT TO JAPAN AND SAW THE CARS IN PERSON! and i've been obsessed ever since. so you can say all you want about Super Street and all this shit, but i knew what the true meaning of "Silvia" was back when you were probably thinking "altezza lights are the shyt, y0!"

BTW Brian is actually quite adept at driving the most retarded cars. He can do things with FWD I havent seen elsewhere, i.e Tempest and his 2k4 Accord daily.
