I know, its crappy. Which is my point. C&D did a test on it (I think maybe may 2001). I looked at it last night, and 4.9 was teh best they managed. But it really isnt that good. They said the power came on strong at very high revs, but you couldnt keep it in the power band.

500 HP and 300 lb-ft...some of y'all are making the celica look bad. I've never seen its real time...but I'm sure it's much faster than what some of y'all think...They didn't make it 500 HP and 300lb-ft for nothing....just doesn't make sense...and like one of the guy said...it doesn't weight 5000 lbs...I'm sure that car will give most even the top cars a good run...stock for stock...

And about that 65K, this dealer guy told my guy that and he came home telling me that because I have a 2000 GTS.

If I had 65k, I would get one. A celica with 500 hp and 300 lb-ft..it'll give most cars a good suprise thinking it's only a regular celica.

if u're talking about the celica...4.9 is kinda slow for it's power, but it's there with a GTR R34

It was done by TRD and Millen, for 500 000. It hasnt even been to an autoshow (to my knowledge), so it was mainly a pet project. C&D only had it cuz' they had nothing else that month (other than a gripping minivan comparo!)

that's nothing for a car company, especially to design a car!! even $5,000,000 is nothing for designing a car.... then again all they really did was modify a celica

but still that's not even enough to pay a couple salaries

Do you even know anything about cars before you talk?? I dont know about the RSX-R so I will not comment, But the WRX is NOT putting out 227 to the wheels. That 227 is measured at the crank, to the wheels, it prob gets 180-190.

Also did anyone mention the TypeSH?

The celica GT beating the lude?? You must be kidding. I have video of a lude taking a gts, giving the gts a car lead if you want it. E-mail me.

AWD drivetrain loses a lot of power during the process. WRX only have about 160hp at the wheels.
