you should have spent your $$ on go-fast items instead of "make my car look fast" items (rice). Intakes, Headers, Real Exhausts (not gay tips), turbos, ignitions, etc.. those things don't break when you get in a fender bender.

Check the radiator and coolant overflow tanks, and also pull the bumper and look in the drivers side right in front of the tire, that's where the windshield wiper fluid tank is hidden. It might have come loose or cracked in the accident. Also if you want to be really sure, take it to have an alignment checked, if it hasn't changed you might not have any unibody damage (hopefully you don't have any anyhow, it doesn't look too bad).

Now that I look at it again, the drivers side didn't look like it got touched, but check the radiator though, it might have taken a hit, just find a shop to run a coolant system compression test.

Oh yeah, sorry for being a dick in that last message, it looked like you had clear corners on it. If you DID have clear corners, then you should have the stock ones laying around, go get 'em and put them back on.

i have quite a few go fast items. check out this thread: here for all my mods and a before pic before i smashed her. look under engine. i'm doing everything in moderation. i want a show & go car. not going for one or the other. i'm going for both. don't forget i'm only 17 (as of dec.25) and i work at WALGREENS @ minimum wage ($6.40/hr here in CT). i know i need a new job, and if i made good money, my car would be ultimate. because money is my only setback.

Always Remember...

Always remember: If you are driving an automobile in any condition, your are doing better than the guy who's putting miles on his Nike's.

Anyways, glad to hear you're over the initial shock, sorry about your car, and good luck re-doing it. Even in the crash pics it looks like it's a beautiful car.

On the bright side: If you've ever wished people wouldn't park next to you in a crowded shopping area, your wish will come true until your car is fixed

I can't wait to see how your car is going to look when its all fixed. I liked it a lot before the crash, hopefully you can make it just as nice, or better . BTW, How close to Farfield County is West Haven? LOL I have no sense of direction.

*UPDATE*

good damn news! i've put together roughly $1500 from the past week or so of working . so i'm now planning the following:

$400 yokohama parada tires to go with the tenzo-r av7 17" rims sitting in my room
$300 (estimated) for my zenith 2 front bumper if sparq makes a few calls for me as he said he'd do when he returns from vacation on jan 6th
$25-$100 new fender possibly from ebay or a junkyard to save cash.
(my head and corner lights + bulbs are already paid for that came to about $190 but that's not coming out of the $1500)
now the hood i'm still really unsure of. everyone here says get OEM style carbon fiber, but all my other non-import loving friends say black hood on all white car will look stupid. so here is the following:
OEM style hood: $498 shipped
Honda hood: used $50 new $250
i may need a new front bulkhead and hinge for the hood, not sure yet though. that is $63 and $12 respectivly.

hopefully i can use whatever money i have left to paint the parts. and depending on which i get i may have close to $400 left or $250. but if i have $250 left i wont have to paint my hood. and will it really cost $250+ to paint a fender and bumper?

also good news is i have a friend of my moms who works at J&M autobody here in CT. probably have to stop by there and get a quote. if that fails i have a friend of my aunts who has a body shop here in west haven too. hopefully i have enough money to complete the fix.

thursday has snow in the forcast i'll get to my next problem in a new thread.

theres the update for this tragedy.

the damage doesn't look to bad. I thought your car was totaled. It'll be ok. First things first. Take it to a mechanic and check it out. Your body will be temp. but your engine is not.
I can see why your really upset...i'd be crying if i got into a wreck. How's the damage on your friends car? and how is he paying?

Open your hood and look at your internal damages. Your radiator, intake, your fluids are important, any oil leaking. Stuff like that.
