Updates time...

Finished the wing from the SAS kit.. using SAS decals... their C/F decals are very nice and finish very realistic, looks like I am going to have to change from my ususal Scale Motorsport:

Very nice. Me like wingy, Lee want wingy. I'm gona have to get one of those for my uhh, tohgue ae86, but i'd prefer the one with the lip in the middle.

WOWOWOWOWOW ..... thats so amazing ... im working on the same model ... and i thought mine was good .. but man .. that is sooo sweet ... that is some fine work .. cant wait to see more progress .!!!!! ummm what do you use to make the spark plug wires?

FWD

The movie car was FWD also

The spark plug wires are made out of .009 gauge wire from Radio Shack

Well the Revell car is AWD, thankfully, it wont be too hard to squeeze a sbc in mine when I'm ready to do so.

Ok.. here is a little update, got brakes done and funny gas bottles.. so here is step by step:

SAS brakes and calipers is a superb kit!

First we put the brakes together and paint the calipers:



Than we detail the rotors by flowing thinned black paint into the recesses and the open ventilation holes:


Then paint the center ring magnesium:


Caliper markings and face detail"


Completed brake assembly:



Nitrous bottles:


To me little details like this is what modeling is all about...

What do you think?
