v-6 auto sadan ran a relitivly fast 15.10 at about 94mph- and the 2003 6speed accord ran an 14.58 at about 98mph and ran 0-60mph in 6.22 seconds- this was motor trend not some bullshit pontiac avertisment

I'm not 100% sure of the exact numbers, but since you asked nicely...

For future reference, start a new thread instead of resurrecting a thread this old......noob

Sounds about right for a split-second perfect run. I'm sure any Joe Schmoe would most likely run mid-low 15's though.

yeah ive been hearing mid 14's for the 1/4, and for the 0-60, 6.22 seems a little low, ive been reading 6.7 everywhere.

I don't get it! Every year, the accord seems to find like 30 or 40 extra horses! I am in awe at the fact that the C&D tests show the v6 accord running low 14s! That is awesome for a sedan, especially a honda sedan! I would have to say well choice in cars my friend! I like it!

Honda HAD to find some extra horses for this gen cuz Nissan had a lot of us Honda guys drooling over their new 240hp Altima and 255hp Maxima! Then they one upped Honda again by releasing the new 265 hp Maxima around the same time the 7 gen Accord was released. Now the Maxima has pretty much changed over into the Sport Sedan class as opposed to the Family sedan class it used to share with the Accord (IMO). Now the Accord competes with the Altima which used to be nowhere NEAR the Accord. I gotta hand it to Nissan, they really stepped up to the plate in 2001-2003. I don't like the styling of the new Maxima, but it sure can move!!!

Next, we'll see if Toyota can put some pep in the laxidasical -sp Camry.

Speed is only one of my considerations in buying a car. Id take a slower car if it was better looking and more comfortable any day of the week

My feelings weigh more on the performance side. I do wish I had power windows/locks though

My eyes definitely look harder at the numbers than the padding on the seats, but PW / PL are a convenience I think I've been spoiled on and can't go back. But I get so damn annoyed when my friend plays with the switches on his side!!! He'll roll his window all they way up at night, then keep flicking the switch up to make my headlights dim out for a second. It drives me CRAZY!!! And there's nothing I can do about it but yell or try to fight him, steer and shift at the same time. I dont know why I hang out with that bastard

I think the low 14's belong to the 6 speed coupe, with low 15s going to the sedan.
