So I'm in auckland for an unrated issue, and decided to hop past McLaren in the hopes of catching the new P1.
I did, it's here. On top of that, I accidentally walked in on the day for the 650 LM launch, so that's in the showroom too. McLaren, not to do things in half measures, also got 018 for the display. So, anyone wanting to see that, it's right now centre stage and without barriers on display. I hopefully will have some good photos to present soon. Sadly no 049 again, but now is the time to visit for anyone local enough. |

Yes the yellow P1 on display there is a customer delivery too as opposed to the one they had earlier from the factory. Two P1's now on the ground here ready for the roads.
Cool to hear 018 is there, been hearing some rumours about that lately, when I get back to NZ will get some straight answers in person! 049 will only be up for servicing, and they usually drive it up from Wellington to Auckland too in the night. Last time they bought it back driving (as opposed to on a truck) it did get some stone chips though. But good to see it being used as opposed to being a garage/trailer queen. |

018's "sister" P1 is out and about cruising the country and Auckland now, similar exterior colour and similar interior theme to the F1.
